SEREMBAN, Nov 22 (Bernama) -- Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties should not overreact to the outlandish views expressed by a few speakers at the last Umno general assembly because the party's policies were not moulded on such speeches, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Gerakan President's Remarks Invites Polemics, Says Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- Deputy Information Minister Datuk Zahid Hamidi considers Gerakan President Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik's dissatisfaction with the language used by some Umno delegates when debating Malay interests at the recent Umno General Assembly as inviting polemics among the communities.

   

Mukhriz's Criticism Emotional, Says Kubang Pasu Umno Chief

CHANGLUN, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- Kubang Pasu Umno Division Chief Datuk Mohd Johari Baharum said Umno Youth executive council member Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir was emotional in criticising the presidential policy address of Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the recent Umno general assembly.
